今天，荷花洁馨说她想做一个书吧。或许，就是如海明威所写的那样的一个地方。你会觉得，那里有你的归宿，忘却疲劳，没有物欲，随随便便，前所未有的松弛，高兴呆多久就呆多久。好吧，如果荷花真的书吧开张，我至少捐200本书。荷花还感兴趣的是，究竟旧书的成本会是多少，需要多长时间才能弄到足够的书，在什么地方能找到这些书。对于爱好书的人来说，总是不会放过任何一个得到书的.机会：图书馆或者单位的处理书、旧书摊、旧书店、书市，甚至是废品收购站。至于不得不提到的钱，反正对我来说，除了伙食费，都可以用来买书。对于书吧，或许这么说比较好：如果你找到了孤独，你就找到了顾客。
燕舞感慨不知道何时才能像我这样有自己的房子和书。其实来过的邻居都知道，我的家里简单得很，不但装修简单，而且除了书和生活必备品，没有什么多余的物件——或许咖啡壶算一个。（所以，只要大家不带什么贵重物品来，抢劫犯盗贼一定会很失望的。）在有自己房子之前，我住的是一个不到十平米的单间，现在的生活物件不比那时候多多少。有个朋友曾给单间拍过几张照片，贴出来忆苦思甜。
要指望一个男人把家里收拾得干干净净，是不现实的。但是，自从开放图书馆之后，每次大家来之前，乱七八糟的东西总得收拾到大家看不到的地方；大家走之后，在临睡前，地板总得拖一下。因为你们的到来，我才感到家里前所未有的干净而明亮。
感谢海明威，他给了我简单完美的梦；感谢邻居，你们给了我真实快乐的生活。因此，尽管今天只是一个阴天，家里依然干净明亮。
